Air Change is a privately owned Australian company, formed in 2000 to manufacture patent protected sensible and enthalpy air-to-air heat exchangers, and a range of HVAC products incorporating the Heat exchange technology.  Internationally, patents for heat exchangers and HVAC products have now been accepted in USA and China, and are pending in Europe and several other countries.

The company aims to improve indoor air quality using a sustainable approach.  Since 2001, a comprehensive range of energy efficient packages HVAC products have been developed and commercialised.  The heat exchangers are designed to reduce air conditioning loads through the pre-conditioning of incoming air prior to entering the refrigeration system.  The Air Change units have been well received by industry, due to the simplicity of combining indoor air quality and energy efficiency, all in one packaged unit.

The managing director, John Urch, has been in the industrial heat transfer and air conditioning industry for 40 years and has successfully designed, patented and manufactured a range of heat exchangers and fresh air commercial and domestic HVAC systems.  Prior to the formation of Air Change, John was the founder and principal of Diamond Air Conditioning and Eco Air.
